Logistics Partner Terms of Service

Palembi is a digital marketplace that connects customers with independent vendors offering goods and services. Palembi may facilitate delivery through third-party logistics partners but does not operate as a transport carrier.

To operate as a logistics partner on Palembi, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Hold the appropriate legal right to work and operate in the UK
• Provide accurate personal or business details
• Hold valid identification and, where applicable: driving licence, insurance (e.g. goods in transit, vehicle insurance), business registration details / legal identity documentation

Palembi reserves the right to verify your credentials at any time.

You operate as an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates employment, partnership, or agency. You are responsible for your own:

• Taxes
• Insurance
• Equipment and vehicle

As a Logistics Partner, you agree to:

• Accept and fulfil delivery requests through the platform
• Collect items from vendors and deliver them to customers
• Follow delivery instructions provided
• Handle goods with care and professionalism
• Ensure timely delivery within agreed timeframes

You must:

• Always maintain professional conduct
• Ensure goods are transported safely and securely
• Communicate clearly with vendors, customers, and Palembi where necessary
• Follow any handling instructions, especially for fragile or perishable goods

Repeated failure to meet service standards may result in suspension.

You agree to:

• Update delivery status accurately (e.g. picked up, in transit, delivered) and timely
• Use tracking tools provided by Palembi where applicable
• Confirm delivery completion appropriately

• Delivery fees will be communicated prior to acceptance of each job
• Payments will be made according to Palembi's payout schedule
• Palembi may deduct platform fees (if applicable) and adjustments for disputes or failed deliveries

You must not cancel accepted deliveries without valid reason or fail to complete assigned deliveries. Where issues arise (e.g. customer unavailable, incorrect address), you must notify Palembi promptly.

• Palembi reserves the right to apply penalties where appropriate

You are responsible for goods from the point of collection until delivery is completed. You may be held liable for:

• Loss
• Damage
• Mishandling

Where required, you must maintain appropriate insurance coverage.

You must not:

• Tamper with or misuse goods
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Misrepresent delivery status
• Behave inappropriately toward customers or vendors
• Circumvent the platform

You may have access to customer or vendor information (e.g. names, addresses). You must:

• Use this information only for delivery purposes
• Not store, share, or misuse data
• Comply with UK GDPR requirements

Palembi may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You breach these Terms
• You fail to meet service standards
• You engage in misconduct or unsafe practices
• There are repeated complaints

Palembi is not liable for:

• Loss of earnings
• Vehicle or equipment damage
• Indirect or consequential losses

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform means you accept any updates.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
