Buyer Terms of Service

Palembi operates as an online marketplace connecting customers with independent vendors offering goods and services.

• Does not own inventory
• Is not the seller of goods or services except where stated explicitly
• Facilitates transactions between users and vendors

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate account information
• Use the platform lawfully

When you place an order:

• You enter a contract directly with the vendor, not Palembi
• The vendor is responsible for fulfilment, quality, and delivery

• Prices are set by vendors and displayed on the platform
• Payments are processed via Palembi's payment system through Stripe and/or Paystack
• Additional charges (e.g. delivery fees) will be clearly shown before checkout

• Delivery is fulfilled by third-party logistics partners
• Estimated delivery times are indicative only
• Risk passes to you upon delivery
• You are required to confirm when products are delivered to ensure quality standards are upheld by vendors and logistics partners and all parties involved

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:

• You may have the right to cancel certain orders within 14 days
• Some items (e.g. perishable goods, custom items) may be exempt
• Refunds are processed in line with vendor policies and UK law
• Disputes will be escalated to Palembi for review

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

• As described
• Of satisfactory quality
• Fit for purpose
• If not, you are entitled to remedies including refund or replacement

You agree not to:

• Provide false information
• Abuse vendors or other users
• Attempt to bypass the platform payment system

• Reviews must be honest and based on real experiences
• Palembi reserves the right to remove inappropriate content

Where applicable:

• Users may earn reward points for reviews
• Palembi reserves the right to modify reward structures

Palembi is not liable for:

• Vendor product quality
• Delivery failures

Your data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and Palembi's Privacy Policy.

We may suspend accounts for:

• Fraud
• Misuse of platform
• Breach of Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

By using Palembi you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
